Provides counseling for low-income families. Our grant supports a counseling program for at-risk teens that is at their clinic, two schools, and the Boys and Girls Club of Venice.

Provides life-changing opportunities to homeless and low-income families through housing assistance, education and summer camps for children. We support a Care Through College program that offers high school students tutoring and help with the college admissions process.

Venice Family Clinic

The clinic provides free health care, dental care and counseling for low-income and homeless individuals and families. We help support their health care project at OPCC’s Access Center and their domestic violence program for families with children ages 0-19.

St. Margaret’s Center

Provides emergency and supportive services such as food, clothing, shelter, rent and utility assistance, immigration assistance, adult education and tutoring to over 12,000 low-income individuals each year. Our grant helps support emergency financial assistance and a bilingual caseworker.

Las Familias del Pueblo

An early education center for immigrant children that provides after-school tutoring and a charter school for kindergarten and first grade. Students go on to high-performing schools, with a majority attending the Brentwood Magnet School. Our grant supports their after-school program.

SPY: Safe Place for Youth

SPY’s mission is to “inspire, nurture and empower homeless youth by providing immediate and lasting solutions” including health care, counseling and a street outreach program. Our funds help support SPY and provide meals twice a week.

St. Matthew’s Parish Outreach Grants


The Thrift Shop supplements grants to OPCC, the

Westside Food Bank and the St. Joseph Center.

An OPCC project where at-risk teens train shelter dogs in order to make them more adoptable. In the process, teens learn goal-setting skills, personal accountability and the power of positive reinforcement. The program is held at three local continuation high schools and at the Vista del Mar School and Residential Treatment facility.
